Appleton™ explosion protected SJB Series 316L stainless steel terminal, junction box enclosure for various electrical devices are designed for use in areas designed for Zone 1, where flammable gases or vapors are present either continuously or intermittently.
They are ideal for use in petroleum and chemical facilities, refineries and other industrial process facilities.
They can also be used in food processing, dairy, brewing or other commercial facilities.
Their excellent corrosion resistance makes them suitable for use in wet or corrosive atmospheres.

Austenitic stainless steel contains at least 10.5% Chrome (Cr). Chrome is a protective layer that shields the material from humidity in the air
316L stainless steel contains Molybdenum (Mo), which provides excellent corrosion resistance especially against chlorides
Smooth, continuous welded seams. Poured in place polyurethane door gasket
Different sizes and depths to choose from. Available in three depths, 95 mm (3.74"), 200 mm (7.87") and 300 mm (11.81")
Can be supplied with 1, 2, 3 or even 4 neoprene sealed gland plates for ease of cable installation
Hinges standard on all sizes above 370 mm x 260 mm (14.57" x 10.24")
