SBU Series Cable Gland (Exde) Stopper Box
Brand: Eaton CorporationThe Redapt Cable Gland Stopper Box is designed to seal conductors at the entry to an enclosure via conduit, or to convert an existing compression gland to a barrier gland.
This is achieved by forming a barrier of compound packed between the individual conductors within the cable to prevent an explosion within the enclosure.
Assembly of the Stopper Box compresses the packing material, distributing the compound evenly around the conductors.
The Cable Gland Stopper Box is supplied with compound in a pack, complete with making off instructions and gloves.
