Appleton™ ATX™ RSI Series intrinsic safety relays are designed for use in for flameproof enclosures.
They provide galvanic isolation of the circuits between a Increased Safety (IS) area and a safe (NIS) area.
The 1-channel relay is for installation in a NIS area or Exd (flameproof) enclosure; it transmits to the NIS area one signal received from the IS area.
The 2-channel relay is for installation in a NIS area; it transmits to the NIS area two signals received from the IS area.
