IDSR Interlocked Switched Receptacles are available in 30, 60 and 100 Amp fused and non-fused designs.

They are designed to prevent electrical arcing when portable or mobile electrical equipment is used in indoor or outdoor non-hazardous locations.

These compact metallic receptacles feature an ON/OFF switch and an enclosed mechanical interlock.

Plugs cannot be inserted or removed unless the power switch is in the OFF position.

The switch can be locked in OFF position.
Features
  • Receptacles are provided with a safety-interlock system, designed to free both hands for insertion and removal of the plug
  • A cover interlock is provided to prevent entry to the enclosure while the operator is in the ON position; plugs cannot be inserted or removed unless the power switch is in the OFF position
  • Receptacles with 3 phase 4 wire grounded receptacles are prewired to the breaker or disconnect switch
  • 600 Vac, FB (ferrite bead) circuit breakers
  • Available in fused or non-fused using the same compact enclosure
  • Uses standard Powertite ACP or CPH plugs for wide acceptability
  • Receptacle with standard spring door cover is NEMA 3 and 5. When used with supplied screw cap it is NEMA 3, 4X and 5
  • Insulating blocks provide the greatest dielectric and mechanical strength
  • Ergonomically designed yet rugged cast aluminum handle for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance
  • Patented brass receptacle contacts exert constant pressure for good electrical continuity
  • Furnished with rugged cast aluminum housings
  • Optional cover latch available to allow for locking the operating mechanism in the OFF position
